Baked Chicken Breast Recipes
The oven has been around forever, so baked chicken breast recipes have been used by our mothers, grandmothers, great-grandmothers, and on. So with all these women baking their chicken breast we now have a great variety of baked chicken breast recipes to choose from. That is why I am going to make it simple for you. These recipes I have tried myself and used for my family for years. They have yet failed in pleasing even the pickiest of eaters and here they are.
Sunset Chicken Breast
4 chicken breasts (skinless is best)
4 tsp of butter, softened
2 Tbsp of parsley
1/4 tsp of paprika
1/2 tsp garlic salt
2 Tbsp onion, minced
Preheat oven to 425. Place the chicken in a baking pan, there is no need to grease it. evenly spread the butter over each chicken breast. In a small dish combine all the seasonings. Then sprinkle over the chicken. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
My family normally serves this dish with some wild rice and broccoli.
Swiss Chicken Breast
4 Chicken Breast
1/4 c white grape juice
1 can of cream of chicken soup
1 Tbsp of melted butter
1 c bread crumbs (herb flavor is best)
Grease the bottom of a 9×9 cake pan. Lay the chicken in pan. Top each with one slice of cheese. In a separate bowl mix the juice and soup together. Pour this over the chicken. In the same bowl add the butter and bread crumbs stir until just moistened. Crumble the bread crumbs over the chicken and bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until chicken is done.
This recipe can be made beforehand. Just leave off the bread crumbs and cover. Keep refrigerated up to 2 days. When ready top with bread crumbs and cook for an additional 10 minutes since it’s cold. If you want to leave the bread crumbs off completely then you can also do this in the crock pot.
