Chicken breast recipes in China
Who doesn’t love Chinese food? Chicken breasts recipes in China bring out all the wonderful flavors in chicken and the ingredients with it. Chinese food has become really popular here in the US, so I want to share this delightful chicken stir fry recipe with you.
I love Chinese food and I think it has become so big here because they give you such large portions and the prices seem small compared to other fast food giants. Well that may be true but the reason it seems cheap is because the food is so cheap to purchase. The thing of rice you get that seems so large and awesome, well it is, but it only cost them about .25. How much did you pay for it again? Probably a lot more than that. So I have decided to start learning how to cook all these great Chinese recipes that my family just devourers.
Chicken breast recipes in any form are tasty but I chose to start with a chicken stir fry. It seemed pretty simple. So I asked family and friends but no one seemed to have a recipe, so to the internet I went. I searched over 40 sites and finally found a few I was happy with. After trying them this has turned out to be the best as far as flavor and ease.
1 lb. Chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
1 Tbsp oil
2-3 cups vegetables (see below for suggestions)
1 c chicken broth (1 c water and a bullion cube works great)
2 Tbsp soy sauce
4 oz spaghetti
Heat the oil in a skillet over medium high heat. Carefully add chicken and stir until golden. Stir in veggies, broth, and soy sauce. Stir for about 30 seconds. Then cover and reduce heat.
Simmer until vegetables are tender, you may need to add an extra Tbsp of water so watch it. Then add spaghetti and stir. After I added the spaghetti I also added a dash of soy sauce, but it is not needed.
Vegetable ideas:
Carrots, bean sprouts, mushrooms, cabbage, sugar snap peas, water chestnuts, onions, celery, baby corn, or just regular corn, broccoli, green onion, red pepper, zucchini, squash
Or if you are short on time you can always pick up a bag of frozen veggies.
