Chicken Dinner Recipes

If you are wondering what chicken dinner recipes are then let me tell you.  A chicken dinner recipe is one that gives you the entire meal.  Meaning you only have to cook one thing, it’s an all-in-one dinner recipe.

I love using chicken dinner recipes on nights when I know I will be home late and I think a lot of you will find you love these as well.

This first chicken dinner recipes is not only an all in one meal but it is also low in cholesterol and fat.

White Wine Chicken Dinner
2-3 cups of chicken breasts cut into cubes
2-3 potatoes, diced
4-5 carrots, diced
2-3 c green beans
½ c white wine (cooking sherry will work as well)
Salt and pepper to taste

In a 9×13 pan spread the chicken out evenly.  Then top it with a layer of potatoes; followed by a layer of carrots, then the green beans.  Salt and pepper it to your taste and then add the wine.  Cover and bake at 350 for an hour.

Chicken and Rice Dinner
3 chicken breasts, cut into pieces
1 c rice
1 c chopped celery
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of celery soup
2 c boiling water
1 pkg dry onion soup mix

Put the rice in a 9×13 pan and cover it with the celery.  In a bowl combine the 2 soups and water until smooth and then pour over the celery.  Place the chicken on the soup, (skin side up if it still has skin.)  Sprinkle with a little pepper and paprika, but it is not necessary to salt.  Sprinkle the onion soup mix on top.  Cover with foil and bake for 2 hours at 350.

The last of the chicken dinner recipes I want to share seems similar to the last but it has peas and is a completely different flavor then the previous one.

Chicken Dinner
3 chicken breasts, cut into pieces
1 c Rice
1 c diced celery
1 large onion, chopped
3 c water
½ c butter, melt
1 clove of garlic, minced
1 bag of frozen peas

Place the butter in a baking dish and then roll the chicken in it and set aside.  Add the rice, celery, onion, and garlic and then put the chicken on top.  Add the water then cover.  Bake at 350 for 1 hour.  Take of cover and add the peas, then bake until peas are done.
