Everyday recipes with chicken breast
These recipes with chicken breast are certain to give even the pickiest eater a reason to eat. The first one combines stuffing with cream of mushroom soup for an exquisite flavor. The second is a simple yet flavorful lemon pepper chicken that is just delectable.
Chicken with stuffing
4 skinless boneless chicken breasts
1 Tbsp of butter
1 box of stuffing mix (6 oz size)
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
½ c milk
½ c cheddar cheese, shredded
First melt the butter in a skillet over medium high heat. Then add the chicken and cook until the pink is gone, about 13 minutes.
Take out the chicken and prepare the stuffing in the skillet using the package directions, only allowing it to sit for 2 minutes.
Place the chicken back in the skillet with the stuffing. In a small bowl mix the soup and milk together then pour over the chicken and stuffing. Sprinkle the cheese on top and then cover until heated.
To serve this as a complete meal simple add your veggie of choice and let your family enjoy! Personal my family loves having peas with this and if you want to make it a one-pan meal just throw the peas in after you cook the stuffing but before you add the chicken again.
Lemon pepper chicken
2 boneless skinless chicken breast
1 lemon
½ tsp of oregano
1Tbsp Olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Cut your lemon in half and squeeze the juice from one side on the chicken, then add a little salt and let the chicken sit there while you do the next step.
Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat, about 2-3 minutes. When hot put chicken in skillet. Pepper to taste and sprinkle the oregano on the chicken. While you cook the chicken squeeze the juice from the other half onto the chicken. Cook on each side for about 8 minutes or until done.
For this you can add some rice pilaf and a veggie to have a complete meal.
