Low Fat Chicken Breast Recipes That Still Taste Good
Low fat chicken breast recipes are not hard to come by because chicken is already so nutritious and low in fat. However sometimes people will promote low fat chicken recipes that have little flavor and your dog may not eat. But don’t worry I have tried all these recipes and will testify that they are all low fat chicken breast recipes that taste fantastic.
This first one shouldn’t be to hard to create and still has a really good flavor.
Low-Fat French Chicken Brest
8 boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut in half if needed to get around two lbs.
1/4 c green peppers, chopped
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp chili powder.
1 1/2 c corn flakes, crushed (non coated, for less fat)
8 oz of 98% fat free French Dressing
In a bowl mix green pepper, dressing, 1/2 tsp of chili powder, and the onion powder. In another container mix the remaining chili powder with the corn flakes. Then dip the chicken in the dressing mix to completely coat. Then roll in the crumbs to coat evenly. Place in a grease or sprayed pan. Bake at 375 for 35-40 minutes.
To complete the meal with other low fat options use brown rice instead of potato and broccoli and asparagus for your vegetable.
Parmesan Chicken
4 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast
2 egg whites, slightly beaten
1/2 c bread crumbs, maybe a little more
2 c spaghetti sauce
Grated parmesan cheese
4 slices of mozzarella cheese, or 1 c shredded
Take the chicken and dip it in the egg whites. Once they are nicely covered roll them in the bread crumbs and place in baking dish that has been sprayed. Pour the sauce evenly over the chicken and sprinkle about 1/2-1 c of Parmesan cheese on top. Bake for 45 minutes at 350. Pull out before the last 10-15 minutes and place the mozzarella cheese on top.
