Quick Chicken Breast recipes; for a woman on the go.
Utilizing a package of skinless, boneless chicken breast can be easy and rewarding for the wallet, but can become dull and mundane, so I am sharing ways for you to shake things up a bit and enjoy that inexpensive meal of chicken breasts.
Chicken, Garlic and Mushrooms
4 Skinless, boneless chicken breasts
½ c butter (one stick)
Chopped Garlic
Sliced Mushrooms (to taste)
Place the chicken in a pan. Place slices of butter over the chicken evenly, then add the mushroom and garlic. Place in preheated oven (400 F) for 45 minutes
This goes great with a baked potato and carrots
Chicken a’la cheese
2 Skinless, boneless chicken breasts
Chopped Garlic
Sliced mushrooms, to taste
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can of corn
Position the chicken in a pan and then just top with other ingredients how you see fit and bake in 400 oven for 45 minutes. Serve with rice or potato
Chicken with EASY gravy
4 boneless skinless chicken breast
2-3 cans of cream of chicken or mushroom soup
Place chicken in a 9×9 pan and pour the cans of soup over to cover, if 2 does it then no need for the 3rd if with 2 you still see chicken then add a 3rd, or if you just like a lot of gravy use a 3rd. Bake at 375 for 40 minutes. Serves 4. If cream of chicken is used it goes well with mashed potatoes, if the cream of mushroom is used then it’s best with rice you can use either but this is what I prefer.
Another really simple way to cook chicken breast is to stick it in a pan add a little water to the pan and then add some of your favorite seasonings and cook. My husband and I will usually add salt, pepper, garlic powder, onions, and onion powder. We also buy this BBQ seasoning and will sprinkle a little of that. Then we have a baked potato with butter and sour cream and a can of vegetables. This dinner we usually do when time has gotten away from us because on high heat with a thin layer of water it only takes about 20 minutes.
I hope you enjoy these recipes, until next time.
