These simple chicken breast recipes utilitize either ranch or mushrooms and can be perfect for a day full of soccer games, doctor appointments, parent-teacher meetings or anything that keeps your life busy.
This first recipe gives you a really fantastic ranch flavor and goes great with ranch mashed potatoes.
Ranch Baked Chicken Breasts
4 chicken breast
1/2+ c bread crumbs, Italian works best
3 Tbsp dry ranch dressing mix
First turn the oven to 375 to let it preheat.
Then you will want to spray or oil the bottom of a 9×13 cake pan. Then cover it with some of the + bread crumbs.
In a bowl combine the 1/2 c bread crumbs with the ranch mix. Then roll the chicken in it to give it a nice coating.
Place on top of the bread crumbs in the pan and bake for 35-40 minutes.
For simple ranch mashed potatoes just make them how you normally would but add half a pkg of dry ranch dressing mix. You could also replace your milk or sour cream with ranch dressing and skip the dry package.

1 c sour cream
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1 pkg of onion soup mix
1/2 c mushrooms
1 can of chow mein noodles
In a mixing bowl combine everything but the noodles and chicken. Then in a 9×9 baking dish place the chicken at the bottom. Then pour the soup mix over the chicken and top with the noodles. Bake at 350 for an hour. You can also do this in the crock pot at high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-7 hours.
