Things to do With Chicken Breast
It’s easy to think of things to do with chicken breast, but it’s far harder to think of tasty or flavorful things to do with chicken breast. Don’t worry though here I have two great chicken breast recipes that will help you use those chicken breasts.
Poppy Seed Chicken
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 pint of sour cream
¼ c butter
1 pack of Ritz crackers, crushed
Poppy seeds
In a pot of water boil the chicken until just about done.
While the chicken is boiling stir together the soup and sour cream and melt the butter.
Preheat oven to 350
Cut the chicken into large hunks and put into casserole dish. Spread the soup mix over it making sure each chicken piece is completely covered. Sprinkle the crackers over the soup. Then pour the butter as evenly as possible over the crackers. And lastly top it with a lot of poppy seeds.
Bake for 30 minutes and then serve.
The many things you can do with chicken breast may seem overwhelming but take it easy and just try to enjoy this next recipe.
Chicken and Apples
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 T brown sugar
1 t powdered aniseed
1 t salt
1 large golden delicious apple
½ c Italian bread crumbs
1 egg, beaten
4 T butter, melted
Preheat oven to 375.
Slice each chicken breast in four places about 1/3 of the way through.
In a small bowl mix the brown sugar, aniseed and salt together. Then slice the apple into 16 pieces. Then dip the apple in the sugar mix and insert into each slit of the chicken.
Add the remaining of the sugar mix to the bread crumbs and mix together. Then dip the chicken breasts into the egg and roll them in the crumb mix.
Place the chicken in a pan and pour the butter over it.
Bake for 35-40 minutes until chicken is done.
